A guide to different types of public relations

Public relations is one field where you can never say 'this is enough'. It's always evolving. New technologies, new media. If you are in this field right now, you know what I am talking about. That is why it's so important to be aware of the different types of public relations and their implications on your career. This way you will always be prepared for anything! So let's get started with Are you looking for pr agency delhi

1) Publicity

This type of PR was once considered the best possible outcome of a campaign or work done by a firm. You know that moment when an article about an event that took place at your office or at your client's office makes headlines? That is publicity. Newspapers, magazines, TV networks, radio channels - they will always be interested in an interesting story. But...

This type of PR is not what you should strive for anymore. What good does it do to your client if their name appears on some tittle-tattle column on some tawdry tabloid? You are better off doing something that has news value rather than trying to get an article about your work published on some blog nobody reads. A bad example of this? When it comes to the media, politicians are utter morons! They give interviews about every single little thing they did and the journalist publishes it without rhyme nor reason because he can! So try not to do that.go For THe delhi pr agencies

2) Branding

Branding is all about image building. It doesn't matter what your client does for a living, if you are an expert in branding you will be able to help them present themselves to the world in a certain light. You know how Apple convinces people their products are simple and easy to use while they are complicated? That is branding! The commercials, the ads... All of it was done with one purpose: Making people think Apple gadgets were the easiest things ever made when clearly they aren't. But...

Branding is not just making up things like this example I gave you here. It's more than that. You need to define clear goals and and then work towards achieving them in the most effective way possible. This takes research, constant analysis and knowledge of what your client does well and what they do not. A bad example of this? Most celebrities hire PR agencies to help them be more famous! They will generally use fame-hungry when it comes to their public image only when it's not enough for them feel successful in their line of work. Otherwise, they wouldn't need the help and would just about manage on their own with a bit of clever marketing/sponsorship here and there.Visit Here for the pr agencies in delhi

3) Crisis management

This is where you shine if you are resilient and smart. When something goes wrong, clients or bosses call in crisis counselors who will fix it before the media gets wind of it all! That might sound easy but it isn't. A bad example? Well, this is what happens when companies and officials don't pay attention to PR:

4) Media relations

If you can convince reporters and journalists that your client deserves a good write up on the front page of all newspapers across the world, you will succeed in making them see how great your client is! As long as you do everything right of course... A bad example? Trying to bribe journalists so they publish something positive about your client instead of writing an article about them calling their products 'crap'... They care more about their readers than they do about money because if they wanted to be rich, they would have become engineers or doctors! Here you go For THe best pr agency in delhi

5) Public affairs

This type of PR is a bit more complicated. If you are doing this, it means that your client needs to know what's happening in the world around them and how they can use those instances to their advantage. Clear as mud? A bad example? Let me help you out with this one:

6) Lobbying

If your client is a company worth millions, chances are there will be people who influence decisions about them being made - government officials, journalists... These people can make things really difficult for business owners so lobbying comes into place at these times.
